Who is the Florida Transplant Survivors Coalition?

We are a "grassroots" organization that was born in December of 2001, to fight the anticipated elimination of the Medically Needy Program in Florida.

Our message is simple; after being hard working, taxpaying citizens who were stricken with catastrophic illnesses and disabilities, we deserve no less than the right to live a life of health and dignity.

Our Coalition members are transplant recipients, disabled citizens and their family members. Each is a fighter, willing to put forth the effort to be their "own best advocates" in order to effect positive changes in healthcare.

We invite you to explore our "user friendly" Web site and join us with a free membership.

The Florida Transplant Survivors Coalition's mission is to serve the transplant and disabled communities by promoting organ donation, education on current healthcare issues and presenting a forum in which each person can feel part of a community to make healthcare programs and standards better.
